Post Body

My mental health is getting bad (Depression and anxiety diagnosis) I’ve stared getting awful stomach pains which I think might be stress related ulcers. I work in a high pressure job (senior care assistant- basically a carer with more responsibilities) I feel like I need some time off to sort myself out but the idea of having no money causes me more stress and anxiety. Does anyone know how hard it is to be signed off, how long I would be signed off for, how to go about it and what my work would have to pay me for the time I’m signed off. (I live in England- not sure if this would have a difference compared to rest of UK) Thanks in advance for any advice.
