Am a registered nurse. There was a D V bug going about in my ward. Everyone was sick with it for 2 days max then good. Should mention I am on my 4th week of night shifts.

I did a night shift Monday 29th, and was sent home at 2am 30th due to vomitting at work. I had an excruciating head ache, was sore all over, very tired, and kind of felt weak. I felt better the day after, but 2 days after started feeling terrible again.

Since 29th, have vomited 3 times. I have absolutely extremely unbearable nausea and am feeling a little weak in general. Feel like I can’t eat anything because the idea makes me nauseous am very tired. Am more breathless than usual. Every so often I get the odd pin point pain.

Now I’ve started getting discomfort and pain in my stomach, right beneath my diaphragm. It’s at times painful, but mostly this uneasy feeling. Sometimes feels warm (no, it’s NOT heartburn or indigestion).

I keep getting told I look a lot paler than usual.

I’ve had low folic acid previously.

This is without a doubt the worst I’ve ever felt.
