Sad day

So far I have made about 50 gallons of mead. Today I had to dump my first batch. It was a blackberry melomel. My buddy who brews beer wanted to try the two different meads I am doing and said it taste like vinegar.( cranberry is doing good luckily) I think I had to much head space I lost a good amount of mead to the lees this time around. I should have added blackberry juice or water but hey. Just wanted to share my sadness of 4 gallons of mead down the drain :(
