So in my original post you can see I have a plastic carboy with Spicket. Well after trying to get samples I got a berry stuck in the spicket and I turned the knob on and off multiple times which got the berry unstuck but the spicket leaked so I had to rack into secondary early. Now my second spicket broke somehow without me touching it except putting it in (the nearest brew shop is a hour away.)and I had to bottle two months early. The mead taste decent and it was finished fermenting. Just wanted to share the little bit of sadness.
