This server is difficult, not because it is fiction, but because it is history in the making.

If you are here to make an impact in our online world, then welcome.

Our plugins allow players to police each other and reasonably fortify their own creations. Anything can be built, everything can be destroyed. The plugins allow for deeper and more interesting political & economic game-play.

WHY YOU SHOULD PLAY:

1: If you enjoy politics. Since this world is a long-term map, has a long tech tree, and the consequences of war can be permanent: the stakes are high. This creates real, lifelike politics.

2: If town creation excites you. The server's balancing encourages towns to form, and groups to work together to build up economies.

3: If you enjoy building or grinding resources. It will take a single player months to grind through the entire tech tree by themselves. Groups can gear up much faster, but there is plenty to do on the server, if you have been looking for a place to settle long term, this server is it.

WARNING: This is a new way to play Minecraft survival. There is a learning curve! CivRealms is a totally custom experience and all mods/plugins are server-side meaning you can log in with a vanilla client and get right into the action without any downloads.
