Hello everyone. I'm an undergraduate from the University of Washington and I'm thinking of visiting this place over the summer for a few months. I have absolutely no idea how this place works.

-apparently it's pretty cheap here?
-beautiful biodiversity
So... what should I expect from this place? What are living expenses like? Is there any specific place I should visit? What should I be careful of?
