Post Body

working on fleshing out an old idea for a novel set in a flintlock fantasy world where magic is mostly shunned or outright hated by most people. forcing those who practice magic to stay secret about it. and due to political events most "traditional" or "good" magic has been lost. such as arcane, or pure magics, and to a point Holy magic as well. forcing people that use druidic, elemental, necromantic, and Eldritch magics to keep it a secret. but while fleshing out the magic system i came to think of Druidic magics that take after the four season and weather came up.

is magic pertaining to weather, such as calling forth a storm or healing rains, druidic or elemental or both?

magic comes from that magics plane, another realm or reality that is shaped and reflects that type of magic, but to cast a type of magic you must get permission from a god or spirit of that plane. like being granted permission from a woodland spirit to channel into the druidic plane.
