Hey all.

TLDR version; Looking to buy cheap commanders for newer players to try out. Suggestions for fun cheap ($1 tops, cheaper the better) commanders that aren't super mechanically complex are appreciated.

Long version; I've been introducing a youth center to the awesomeness of MTG and have pretty much no budget / am having to use my personal funds and personal collection to hook them up with. I've already gone through about 1/3rd of my collection for extras to pull (full 4 and 5 row worth so far to give them), but they're asking to try commander and I have a dearth of legendary creatures I can part with from my collection. Suggestions for cheap and fun commanders to pick up would be greatly appreciated. Probably should avoid super complex mechanics on the commander. I'd like to get at least a dozen or so, and really don't want to go over $20. Suggestions appreciated. (I've already hooked them up with some of the uncommon Dominaria legendaries).
