Something that's on my mind which I just really have to share:

Today I got to listen the original broadway cast recordings of The Lion King musical, and I feel like the song "Shadowland" would have been perfect for the 2019 movie.

It would have given Beyonce a solo song for her character, and not just an out-of-character song, which would have been really awesome.

That also fits with Disney's other remakes, in which the main character's love interest has a solo song. Those songs are the character's song, and not an ooc song like TLK's Spirit is.

I feel like the song would fit really well shortly after the escape from Pride Rock scene.

I also really love how the song's chorus uses a melody from the score which is used multiple times throughout the movie. Could have been really cool to see such an iconic part of the score get its own song.
