One of the best aspects of Reddit is the ability to form and engage in community. Sometimes it's not the best it could be, but the moments that are opportunities to make it something it could be cannot be missed. To that end, I had the pleasure of interviewing u/miss_haute. Hopefully this gives you some fun, helpful and maybe even surprising insight into her as a real person, not just a Redditor. Enjoy! --Veronica

How long have you been on Reddit? How long have you been posting content of yourself?
I’ve been on Reddit for 7 or 8 years, but under a different username. I didn’t really discover all the NSFW subs until about a year ago. I started posting as Miss Haute only a few months ago.
Lingerie can be impractical and expensive, so what is your motivation to wear it?
Lingerie makes me feel confident and sexy. After having three kids, I know my body doesn’t look the same as it used to, and that’s hard to come to terms with. It’s easy to feel insecure in an intimate setting. But when I’m wearing lingerie, that all goes away.
I also just really love the aesthetic of lingerie. It’s objectively beautiful to look at on any body type. More than that, it sets a tone for whatever activities I’m planning to wear it for. 😏
Has sharing your content opened you to any new ideas or ways of seeing yourself?
Definitely! It’s validating to know other people are interested in my content. Like I said above, moms often feel insecure in their bodies, myself included. But when I look back at my posts, it’s easier to see myself the way other people do. And you’re all so incredibly sweet.
What are one or two things about a person that are guaranteed to turn you on?
Being articulate. I have a pretty wide range of interests and I’m always looking for great conversation. When someone can actually have a discussion and converse about a lot of topics (SFW and NSFW alike), it’s an instant turn on.
Being respectful and demonstrating an understanding of consent. I tend to lean submissive, and I wish more men understood that submission is a gift.
Do you have any advice for newer accounts that are new to posting their content?
Be careful to research each sub before trying to post. You want to make sure you’re a good fit for the vibe of the sub, and that the vibe of the sub is a good fit for you. And you don’t want to get burned accidentally breaking the sub’s rules.
Ask yourself on a regular basis what your goals are for posting your content, then adjust your posts as you find those goals changing. Don’t be afraid to try different types of subs and content.
If you’re getting a lot of messages, it can be overwhelming. Establish boundaries with people you choose to chat with. Trust your instincts, and use the Block button when you feel uncomfortable or unsafe. But if the conversations go well, just have fun with it! I’ve chatted with a lot of new people and it’s been a blast.
