After 4 years of low contact limerence, I'm finally considering going NC (basically just blocking on social media) on Jan 1 to start the new year off in an empowering way. I'm spending December imagining what it will be like, pros and cons. I'd love to hear if going NC was an empowering experience for you, if it allowed you to take back control.
One reason I always held off on NC is that I'm a people pleaser, and it seemed so dramatic and over the top. I don't have animosity toward my LO, why do something that creates drama when the limerence seemed to always be reducing? Recently I've accepted that low contact isn't working, because he still pings me on social media and keeps me spinning. So NC seems to be the way. Did anyone ever regret blocking someone on social media because it negatively impacted your LO?
