My homophobic Family
Post Body

I'm in a really tough situation with my family, specifically my mom. She's a born-again Christian and has always struggled with accepting my sexuality. We recently had an argument, and she made some hurtful comments, including saying that she wouldn't be a part of my life if I had a husband, children, or grandchildren.

I still love and care about my family, but their lack of acceptance is really impacting my emotional well-being. I've been trying to maintain contact, but it's becoming increasingly difficult. I’ve come out to my mom several times for years and she just won’t accept it it keeps saying things like “ you will find a nice girl one day”

Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you navigate this situation? I'm feeling really lost and would appreciate any support or advice.
