So this is actually my second post here, and from my first post, I got quite a few messages, but ultimately, either the time, the game, or something else didn't work out, For the time being, at least.
But I learned about the commonly asked questions from the interviews, and thought I'd answer them here. Though of course, you're free to PM me and we can talk more on discord.
Why do you want to play D&D?
I've played a ton of video games, and a lot of them draw inspiration from D&D. So I think it'd be interesting to visit that material.
I also want to be social with it. I think it would be a good medium to interact to others though.
Are you comfortable with RP?
Yes, I'm comfortable with RP. As for whether I'm comfortable RPing? I will strive to be, learning how to within D&D, hopefully!
Timezone?
Eastern, but I have a fairly open schedule on most days, so a slight (or even reasonable) difference in time shouldn't be too hard to accomedate.
Homebrew?
I'm very new to D&D. This would be my first game. So if you have a simple homebrew campaign, I think that would be fine, but if you have complicated mechanics and other deep systems. I think they would be too much for me.
What am I looking for?
I'm looking to learn through playing under an experienced DM, or group of players.
I'm LGBT friendly, and easy to get along with, and I won't confuse the things the things people say to my character to me.
I've been recommeneded a run in the "Lost Mines or Phandelver," so I am particularly interested in this campaign, but really, anything would be good. Long as it isn't too far from the norm.
Feel free to DM me about anything, happy to answer any questions you might have about me. I hope I'll have a spot at your (virtual) table!
