With the quality of the filters on snapchat amongst other apps will people soon be able to dictate whether their real face or an augmented one is used as their appearance online. Although it may sound ludicrous there is a general moral surge of people being able to identify however they wish. And surely facial recognition programs are already if not nearly ready, to be able to identify a person's face and replace it with its predetermined augmented one, across numerous platforms. I can imagine a group of friends taking a photo, and one of the group has a pre set augmented face they wish to use, and with an internet connection the phone taking the photo knows this and replaces the original with the augmented one. Im sure this could become popular before law or morality inevitably tries to play catch up. Of course some people could tweek some imperfections, crooked teeth, large nose, but some people could change their entire look. With the repercussions potentially huge and very muddled. I know I'm not doing a brilliant job of explaining, I'm not a complete tech head but just always ponder the future of technologies I see. Can people more tech savvy explain if this is a possibility or what's stopping/ enabling it from being a reality
