I live in KCMO but would like to relocate to the west coast within the next year. Life has me feeling pretty scared and tired but I try to find fun and humor in all of it. Currently working in insurance, feeling burned out but hanging on. I feel like that's where most of us are, these days, and if you aren't then you're either lying or I can't relate to you.

Looking for someone who "gets me" or wants to get me, patient with my general anxiety and someone who has a good sense of humor, is social and likes to Do things. Must be self-sufficient but not ruggedly independent. I like to feel that I have something to give, and I don't really get that with people who are too quiet, solitary, or introverted. Let's support each other. I'm very talkative but also want and understand the need for alone time.

I'm a curious person and need to be with someone who enables that curiosity. Think Lorelai Gilmore but less manic and not half as attractive, lol.

I'm a size 20 (but losing weight, aiming for a size 14/16) if that matters. Regardless, I think I have a pretty solid sense of style. It leans pretty femme, but I spend most of my time at home in leggings and t-shirts anyway.

I'm not adverse to long distance provided you live somewhere I'm interested in relocating to (primarily the west coast but also potentially Chicago or somewhere close-ish to NYC, I have friends in both areas). If you're local, must be willing to relocate or down to just be friends.

Hobbies primarily include reading, writing, watching documentaries and listening to podcasts. I'm not much of a binge watcher in general but when something catches my interest, I tend to go all-in on it (and later want to talk about it), so there are exceptions.
