Trying to find the "fair market value" for losing part of 2 fingers

Post Body

To keep this short: my sister works for a grow-op and lost part of 2 of her fingers due to an incident with a piece of machinery (past the first knuckle of her index & ring finger of her non-dominant hand). The owners of the company didn't keep up with their workers comp insurance but so far have paid all of her medical bills out of pocket. She & the owners are friends and they are trying to come up with a good number for a settlement to compensate her for the loss of her fingers, future issues, mental anguish, etc.

She's not trying to bleed them dry but what would be a "fair" value for something like this? They live in Oregon, in case that matters at all.
