Mechanical failure at apartment causing laceration to pet cat and minor cut to tenant.

Post Body

Hello everyone, a heavy six to seven foot metal window trim piece failed and fell onto a glass desk where my cat likes to reside.

The cats forearm was sliced open and bleeding occurred, the injury will require veterinary care likely involving stitches.

I have taken pictures of the failure, damage caused by the failure, as well as the blood on the floor, and documented the pets injury as well as my own.

What steps should I take next to have this handled properly.

Thanks in advance.
