Question about possible worker's rights/compensation

Hello all, first time posting here so hopefully I don't break any rules. I come with a question as I'm not sure if my company may be following the law...

Situation: I'm a full time employee (company A) and my company finds clients that need help with filling in folks/talent and have them work on that client's product/service/project etc.

I'm my specific case, my client is a BIG tech client and I help their data engineers with their AI. All my orders come directly from my client's engineers, my company has 0 presence in this space. No instructions or training has come from my company for this project.

Here's what sparked my concern... I once went to a mandatory management training that was held by the head of our HR department (he's also a lawyer). This training specifically targeted a situation where a former employee had been in the EXACT same situation as I am, that is, I help the client's engineers with their work loads, received training from them (never my boss), I use their (my client's) proprietary software to do the job, and I even have an email with that client's business (think like [email protected]) and of course my own company email ([email protected])

In this HR training, the head of HR explicitly said a former employee sued them/or my client (same client for him and me) stating their case as he was an engineer for the client because all work orders and training came from the client directly. There was no liaison or Company A presence for him to do his job. My company (Company A) did not pay him wages anywhere near what the client would pay in this position. The head of HR said the court sided with the employee, stating: if it smells like [big tech client], acts like [big tech client], looks like [big tech client], then it's obviously [big tech client]. He won and was paid appropriate wages.

My concern is my company is doing this all over again with me and my team for about 8 months now. We get paid less than $19/hr and we know these engineers we work with get around roughly $90k to $120k per year (we Googled them and their positions...).

I feel that my company may be breaking some law again and I am wanting to bring up this issue to my boss.

I feel that I and my team members are not being paid properly. We actually make the lowest wages per hour in the company and we work on the most complex projects in our department. We have much more access to the A.I. we work on and have real impact on its learning compared to the entry level projects that didn't require any coding knowledge...

Does anyone have any insight or can point me in the right direction?
