Edit: im not sure what flair to use.. please forgive my ignorance. I am humbly begging for any advice!

So our landlord stalked me and my father for 3 years... we've tried to call the police but they won't do anything.(supposedly its not technically illegal to stalk in Florida?) So it has been about a year since we've last been stalked by him as far as we know, and we are currently moving away to try to escape him and his constant abuse. I was over for the weekend(1 week ago) at our new house finishing up some painting and I saw him circling the block and when I walked to the store I noticed him following me there too. A friend of mine(which he doesn't have a clue that I know) was hit on by him and they got to talking a bit, apparently the subject of my father and I came up. My friend called me a few minutes after they ended the conversation to tell me that he was bragging about following me around and finding out where we will be living.

All we want is to live quiet and peacefully without being constantly bullied and harassed by someone we've never done anything wrong to. We have tried to be nothing but nice and cooperative, but my landlord (ex LL) hes continually breached our contract and tried to sue us for it and tried to force drug tests and even tried to have our dog put down for no reason.

I have pretty severe paranoia and anxiety and I constantly feel watched.. And I know for a fact that these aren't just my hallucinations bc I can tell them apart from reality. It really scares me and makes my skin crawl to know hes starting to stalk us again. What do I do? I dont have really any money to do anything with, I barely make enough to scrape by with food and utilities. How can I stop the stalking? Who should I call? Please... please.. help me!! I'm pleading for your help! I just can't take it anymore....
