I suffer from bipolar disorder and am currently in psychosis because this is my 16th day not eating. I am extremely malnourished and am now under direct supervision from behavioral staff. This question is regarding my PCP.
Backstory. 2 weeks ago I sent a message when I hadn't eaten in 3 days, asking for a script for Ensure or similar. They said make an appointment, I had just seen her 2 weeks prior. They couldn't get me in til 4 days later. I was manic and stayed awake 2 days straight and crashed the night before my appointment. I arrived 20 minutes late, called ahead, they refused to see me until I had a panic attack. My presenting complaint was not addressed. She diagnosed me with pneumonia and sent me out the door. I had to go to the ER for emergency care because I got so dehydrated. I dropped 20 lbs in 2 weeks. Then I couldn't get in for a hospital follow up.
Still not eating or getting better, getting worse actually the next day I was supposed to attend physical therapy at the same office. They banned me from physical therapy since I was too weak to go. I called to talk to a manager and was upset, obviously. She ended up putting in a false note in my MyChart and when I sent a message to my doctor's team telling them I saw it I couldn't see it anymore. I thought that was weird.
This morning I request my medical records and obviously I can't get them, I was upset and without eating and probably dehydrated still I am not thinking clearly. I thought they tampered with my record. I called to talk to an office manager but nobody called me so I reported them to my state board. After I left a message for the office manager I noticed that note in a different area on MyChart. Now I honestly don't know if they put it back or if it was there the whole time and they just removed it from the front page.
Can they sue me for this? I'm very paranoid right now.
