Post Body

I don't even know what to do at this point. I've had a rheumatologist follow up apt on the books for tomorrow at 8am. It is virtual. This doctor lives 2 hours away and because of my herniated discs and joint pain from hEDS I cannot make that drive. I have also been fainting frequently from my dysautonomia. It is not safe for me to go on the freeway. They originally approved the virtual apt as my bloodwork is concerning. However, they just called demanding I come in person or the apt is cancelled since she apparently needs to reevaluate me. I'm at a loss. My follow up bloodwork for potential autoimmune is through the roof. I need to see her but I can't make that drive. I said it felt like disability discrimination as they are denying me a service since I cannot come as an able bodied human would but they don't care. What do l do? As I'm typing this they just called and officially cancelled. They said I could follow up with my other rheum, but that is the Dr that sent me to this one as she is at a loss and not a specialist in what my bloodwork is showing so she said she cannot help me.
