Hi there,
I'm an esthetician working out of oregon. I am currently employed at a small waxing business and have been planning to start my own business for some time now. I had signed a noncompete that included a clause about non-solicitation if I were to leave the studio. I read that non-solicitation clauses may be banned as well if the non-solicitation clause would affect my ability to find a new job or start a new business. is this true? I would not be able to start even a semi-profitable business if I wasn't able to contact my current clients and tell them I was starting up my own business.
Either way, I plan on taking my loyal clients with me i'm more so worried about contacting the clients who I am not sure of their loyalty and need to know more to proceed in contacting said clients.
Thanks in advance
