UPDATE: Like clockwork the "dad" called me up. They just said that they reported her profile to the site but that's about it. I hung up and blocked. How annoying 🙄

To preface I live in Texas and the other party allegedly does as well.

So I was on a dating/hookup app and matched with a young lady that was supposedly 18. I was very cautious in my approach since I normally don't socialize with women that young. I wasn't looking for anything serious but I also wasn't going to be too forward or vulgar.

Anyways, the conversation evolves into is talking about kinks. Normal stuff if you're looking for a hookup. However she sent over a risqué, almost topless photo of herself and I asked "are you sure you're 18?" She replies that no but she would be turning 18 next month. Now I kinda want to keep my distance and i just delete the photo. I say goodnight and they suddenly send me 2 nudes, all unsolicited. I promptly delete those.

I check to see her profile again and it's gone. No we haven't spoken over the phone or video called but I didn't send anything except a couple selfies. I have to emphasize I didn't ask for anything risqué or any nudes ever. In fact I blocked the number this morning.

So just wanted to know, would I be in deep shit if they decided to blackmail me for any reason? Or do you think this was a troll that was probably trying to milk something out of me? I tried to report her to the dating app but not much I can do with the profile gone.
