laws regarding online purchases
Post Body

I am wondering what, if any, legal recourse I have in my situation.

I purchased an item from etsy that cost me over 4000 dollars. It was supposed to take 10 months to produce, however it's now been nearly 18 months. Etsy won't help me because the transaction is more than 100 days old.

The person who is making the item is extremely difficult to contact. When he does respond, it can often be weeks after I have messaged him. At this point, I simply want my money back.

I looked into small claims court, but because he is in Arizona and I am in Minnesota, it would likely cost more to go out there and deal with it than I would receive from the suit.
