Is there a way to mute myself of pinging?

Recently I adopted the way of turning off chats and it has bee greatly effective at minimizing my tilt and improving my performance but I still get tilted and ping people sometimes. I know that must be frustrating and distracting for them. Can I mute myself so even if I press the ping buttons it doesn’t actually go off?
