Songs not showing as "Scrobbling now" on last.fm

I use the last.fm app in order to scrobble music from iTunes, and all of my songs scrobble, but it takes around 2 minutes for a song to show up as "Scrobbling now" on the last.fm website. It used to be instant until a few days ago, is there any way to make it go back to how it was before?
