San Pedro is the first city of Laguna outside of the good ol NCR. Muntinlupa is right next to it.
It's got some industries here and there but San Pedro for the most part, is best known as a commuter town or in other words, its colloquially called as Manila's bedroom and it shows right away given how most of its roads and services are mostly catered to its transport hubs.
As for what to do there, there ain't much to be had to be honest. Outside of the town proper, there's not much to do in terms of entertainment, amusement or whatnot...but its precarious position makes going to such places much easier. (they're outside of San Pedro for the most part)
In the olden days, there were industries that once existed in San Pedro. Kimberly-Clark once existed there after all. Nowadays....its a sad husk now, although the Alaska corporation is still there, Vans (the shoe company) still has a factory there although the Paper Mill that once existed there is now a Puregold grocery now.
As for demography , most people who live there are transplants...the locals who actually lived there for generations either reside in the remote areas of San Pedro such as Cuyab....or Langgam even...and those places can be quite rural if your urban palate's too used to expressways and skyscrapers.
Anyways, thats it for now. Obviously, if you got anything to add or corrections for that matter, feel free to hit it up on the comments below.
