Help! My boy has had this for a couple of weeks now with no improvement..but also not getting worse. Any advice?

This is on his back left foot. He licks at it but shows no signs of pain.

For anyone who is confused as to why I posted this. I needed some backup to show this to his dad (my stepdad) to get him to the vet because he's "old-fashioned " ..so he's stubborn.

Aww he hasn't had a cone in years...poor guy but it will be for the best if that's the case
