I just wanted to get you alls opinion on the best (for the cost) synergies a Tau player can get with Kroot. I love them and take them in every army I field. But I do play Tau. Right now I use a War Shaper, Carnivores (10x), and hounds (x5). I like the free strat on the Carnivores, the extra movement of the hounds, and the 1CP the hounds get around the shaper.
I know the Krootox gets a synergy from being near Kroot Infantry too. Do you all ever get to use this buff in a game? Would you possibly run 2 hound units of 5 so they both had extra charge space and could possibly tie up 2 different enemy units in charge?
I do plan on adding another 10 Carnivores in a separate unit or possibly Farstalkers, whichever I can get my hands on first. But I'm toying with the idea of adding a squad of Krootox for the fire back synergy. I just wasn't sure if it was ever actually used in games.
