Day? I learned jumping down into plank position, and jumping back over the the rope and into a basic bounce. I do it in four steps: rope over/hands on the ground, kick back, kick forward, push up and over the rope into basic bounce. I spent quite awhile working on this, I’m hoping to build some overall strength.
Day?? I learned to swing the rope behind my back and then forward again. I realized that I slow down really badly when I crossover/do other rope tricks and jump higher thinking I won’t make it. I need to practice keeping the rhythm while I go through those ideas.
I also ran a 5k that morning, and got a pr for this particular time of getting in shape! I used to have an under thirty five k, and I’m on my way there again!
Day??? For obvious reasons, today is a rest day. I don’t have shin splits by some miracle, but I feel like my knees are grinding on themselves. I find that as I train both, I need more rest days, which I suppose makes sense. I wish that I had fallen in love with sports that worked different parts of the body...
