I had an interview for a remote job. I asked them about their training process, and they said a coworker would train me until I feel comfortable doing it on my own. This coworker would also be the same position as me, so not a supervisor or manager.
Is this a red flag? I'd expect a company to have a thorough training program and to also have a supervisor, trainer, or manager train me and not a coworker in an equal position. It doesn't seem like they put much thought into training at all if that's their answer.
