There is nothing wrong with being unemployed. Long periods of my life without an income have taught me that. I am so happy that after searching for some time, I got hired. I know the hard part comes now in showing up and being consistent with what the job demands. My expectations for myself are to be present, listen to my inner wisdom, and be radically honest about my employer. It is not food service. It is not a hotel. It is not a job where I have to show up and be entertaining. Unless I want to be, of course, because I am so very happy. So to everyone who is still looking, to everyone who isn't: let's celebrate, help me celebrate, getting a job.
