I have a 2017 Jetta that has been having two interesting problems for ten months. The car will cut off with no sound whatsoever and stop cold. That’s one. The other is that what began as a few small jerks has become full grand mal seizures when it is is driven for even a small length time. Thus, it has mostly been left alone because I’m afraid the engine will blow up. I am assuming that it’s misfiring. So I looked around and a few people have said the spark plugs might be bad. So in it goes on Monday morning for$289 parts and labor to check and see if that’s the issue.
Pray for me. I love my car and no one’s been able to tell me what’s wrong.
