Really, reading this just emphasises the huge and ridiculous change in tone between 802 and 804.
The one good thing about these DVD releases is the near confirmation that DnD made nearly everything up from season 4 onwards, sometimes for good reasons, but often just because they just thought they could do better. If we ever get the books, I’ll imagine an ending for these characters more like them. If we don’t, I’ll stick with fanfic.
