Is anyone aware of any conditions that cause the lack of Vas Deferens to be present? I believe I am at least PAIS Grade 4 and had extensive reconstruction done as an infant. However, I don't have vas deferens. I found this out when I went to get a vasectomy. The doctor performed a physical examination on me and said I was completely without them. Not that they had been cut or etc, but they were not present at all. Had a sperm analysis done and it was negative. My 'semen' is clear and basically looks like saliva and I only produce and extremely small amounts (3-5 droplets). The 2 main causes are cystic fibrosis and unilateral renal agenesis. I have both kidneys (confirmed via ultrasound) and am in my 30's and frequently visit the doctor to get blood work so I can rule out cystic fibrosis. I'm currently looking into gene testing to see exactly what is going on genetically and biologically to see exactly what conditions are present. But I'm not sure where to look. When I had my reconstructions as a child, I'm pretty sure the doctor would have told my parents that the vas deferens had been cut or destroyed during reconstruction. I am not entirely sure if that were the case as I would have been confirmed to be infertile not long after birth. This would have greatly contradicted my parents push for me to have a 'family' and produce offspring. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Edit/update: So, looks like it's AIS.
