U visa concerns
Post Body

I am a derivative on my parents u visa application. We just received BFD and will be sending in our work authorization application soon. We are aware that this does not yet mean approval for the u-visa and that it can still take a few more years.

In the meantime my concern and question is, how much more involved must my parent be in the process before approval? Can we go our separate ways once we get our work authorizations? Once we also get notice that our applications are u-visa approved, can we go our separate ways?
