Iām 25. Iāve had 3 or 4 colonoscopies. Each timeā¦seems like you have IBS. Iāve cut gluten out of my diet completely at this point since itās a huge trigger for me. My mom continues to insist I see a gastroenterologist, but if people have shoved cameras into my intestines and just come out with š¤·š½āāļøIBS. I donāt think itāll make a difference.
Going gluten free has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced my flare ups. But I still get them from time to time. I have IBS-M. Has a gastro ever been able to help anyone?
I also have an eating disorder that has done an unknown amount of damage to my body including leaving me with a āslow transitā colon.
EDIT: I canāt respond to everyone, but I did want to say THANK YOU for all of your responses and perspectives. Theyāve been infinitely helpful. š„°
