Any advice on more poweful cars?

I just got my D license in road racing, so I've just driven the mx-5, so I'm used to be already on full throttle by the apex or even before the apex, and also to a lot coasting, I've tried the cadillac (because I'm interested on the global challenge) and it obviously drives nothing like the mx-5. Should I avoid coasting? In what part of the corner should I start appliying throttle? In what part of the corner should I be full throttle? Thank you.
