Pre-surgery jitters, hurricanes, and the worst cycle I've had in years
Post Body

I'm 34F with fibroids due to have a Da Vinci robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy on Thursday. My doctor took out my Nexplanon implant on Monday in anticipation for surgery, and I'm currently having the worst menstrual cycle I've had in years! I'm talking taking all precautions, still bleeding through multiple times in the night, and I've never been more confident in my decision to have the hysterectomy done. I have impeccable timing though, and there's a hurricane heading for the coast of Florida where I live just in time for my surgery date. So now on top of my pre-surgery jitters, I'm now concerned that my procedure will be cancelled due to the storm. I really can't handle more time of this kind of cycle, when I had my Nexplanon replaced last year, I bled for 3 months. I don't want to do that again.

I guess this is more of a rant/anxiety dump than anything, TLC gratefully accepted.
