My husband's psych think he's hypomanic, but we aren't so sure. How did you folks feel about your diagnosis?
Post Body

We do see where the psych is coming from but he definitely doesn't feel some of those hallmark symptoms like euphoria. The events that the psych thinks are an indication of hypomania can be easily explained. He's been under a lot of stress lately and I've noticed this but no big personality shifts. I want to trust the doc but also the doc can only glimpse so much into our lives in a one hour session.

When you folks were diagnosed did everything suddenly click for you? (I was diagnosed as autstic last year and my whole life suddenly made sense) Or did a lot of your feel hesitant to believe it as we do?
