i love plants, but almost all the common houseplants are just boring. what’s up with everyone just getting the same 20 tropical plants? they look like plastic. the rare houseplants sub is a total joke too. oh look, another pink smudgy leaf with holes in it. pothos and aloe gets a pass though; they are blameless. personally, i like actually “rare” and interesting plants. i like collecting native species, making ecospheres, and i’ve been getting into bog plants lately with nepenthes and others. i want to do an experiment with growing different rices from the store to see the variety. i like lots of little leaves instead of a bunch of big boring ones. they are so much more delicate, and i like to see them grow. i’d love to do bonsai someday. also i hate snake plants so much
ok bye
