I know it's not the usual fare of this sub, so a pointer in the right direction would be appreciated. But I figure you all spend time in your chairs and might have some advice.

I need to replace my chair. It's a very worn-out Office Max deal. I'd like something a little nicer since I both work from home and play games, meaning my chair gets a lot of use. I also use a pair of Foxx Mounts on my desk, so something with an arm configuration that works with that would be great. But above all, I'd love something ergonomic and comfy to use for long periods.

Looking at price points <= $500 USD. Any recommendations?

I had a friend get burned by mail ordering a Secret Labs chair that turned out to be as hard as a rock to sit on in spite of reviews to the contrary. $160 in return shipping. That's the kind of scenario I'd like to avoid, but a lot of the review sites seem bought and paid for.
