Since the release of Prey (pretty good movie IMO) I’ve been think of settings/time periods that would make for a interesting Predator movie. Feel free to comment with your own ideas or elaborate more on the ones given below.

1. Predator vs Cowboys in the old west. Comanche Warriors worked great. Why not flip it and have a Predator land in 1830 Colorado. This is one where I’d like to see the Predator come out victorious in the end. They gotta win sometimes.

2. Predator vs Maasai Tribesmen in 19th century East Africa. Prey was a great looking movie (except the CGI animals) So visually speaking this could be good with the landscapes, the wild life and the colours worn by the Maasai people. The Predator’s roar is like a lions roar so it all just fits.

3. Predator vs Early 1900’s London Police The police initially think Jack the Ripper has returned and the movie is a murder mystery for most of it. Then becomes an action flick once it’s revealed to be a Predator alien.

4. Predator vs Samurais in 10th century Japan Similar to number two on this list. A Predator movie taking place in ancient Japan would be visually striking. Not to mention the parallels between the honourable warriors ways of the Samurai and the Predator.
