I swear my Himalayan knows the difference between the very expensive cashmere and the 8 year old cashmere with holes my grandma gave me or knows to lay in the expensive cashmere instead of a wool blanket or her blanket.
I had a domestic shorthair (read albino mutt) cat before her for 17 years and while she was a true queen with the utmost perfect manners, she wasn’t as picky about her fabrics as this one is. This one will also starve herself if she can’t have the food she wants for days, I mean DAYS.
Pictured is her on HER smaller version of the more expensive blanket so she can have her own and stop with mine. It’s partially working out as planned.

Omg yes! My mom’s Himalayan also strongly prefers the expensive cashmere blankets and prefers her Swarovski studded bowl to the plain one (I know, ridiculous, lmao I love my family).
