How long does it take for mugwort to work?

I’m a couple days late on my period and I have a history of missing periods and I had to take a pill last time to get it to work but I’m tired of chemicals I wanted to try something natural I started drinking it yesterday I had 2 cups and then 1 cup this morning I felt a little cramp when I first drank it so I hope that’s a good sign
