Hello so for the past few months been battling pain during and after stool. First doctor said I have an anal fissure. Second doctor said I have an internal hemorrhoid. I went to a doctor today and they stated I have a chronic fissure and internal hemorrhoid. They gave me nifedipine 0.2 ointment to use and stated it needed to go up my bum. Does anyone have any tips for a straight male on how I should stick this up my bum. He stated I should use index finger but it’s not working. Not going in past finger tip. Also need tips for how I should handle this. I go back next week to have doctor look again to hopefully begin clipping hemorrhoid and fixing the fissure. So any tips to survive this next week. I am currently taking miralax and Metamucil. After passing a stool it’s extremely uncomfortable and painful to do anything so want to get this over with ASAP. Taking pain pills which really aren’t helping either. Just need help
