I can't reply to comments through the app

I have tried multiple times to reply to a comment but I keep getting 'unknown error' popping up every time. I've exited and reentered the app, I have restarted my phone, and now I turned my phone off all night then turned it back on but I still couldn't reply. What's going on? (Edit: OK, apparently I can reply to some comments but not others...I don't know why though.)
