Trusting a Home FFL
Post Body

Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched and didn't really find answers, and have read the FAQ. Had I unexpectedly won an impulse low ball offer on gunbroker earlier, I would've posted this for moronic Monday, but alas here it is.

I know some of you use home based (as opposed to brick & mortar) FFL's for online purchase transfers. There's a guy w/ an FFL listed on Gunbroker in my area who supposedly does transfers for tips for the good of the 2A community. How would you go about verifying this person is legit and trustworthy, and not some schmuck that might vanish with my firearm?
