Why aren't their more PDW's like the MP7/TP9?

Why don't we see more PDW desgins with grip fed mags that can rival and innovate against guns like the MP7, B&T TP9, and UZI series of PDW's? Seems like a solid direction for the market to move in with people wanting to be more gray man/low profile but with better options for defense and protection. The PCC's we have on the market are cool and all but I wish their was more push for compact PDW's to rival and innovate against the existing market. 🤔
