I'm not against the upgrade for GTA Online....

I'm not against paying for the game again in an updated/upgraded state....

I'm understanding that not all my current gtao friends will upgrade....

I'm not against buying a new console and headset just to play the updated version....

but.............

If there are no new consoles available, the ps5 or xbox series X, then how are they expecting this one time migration of content to work?

It seems like they just sunset gtao with the announcement and split the fan base again, which I thought they are against. I don't care about "greedy rockstar" money techniques but this seems counter intuitive to the retention of the player base. And as I said, I don't care that I have to pay for stuff, the game is my vice anyway.... see what I did there.....

Is there news about a big shipment of the next gen consoles becoming readily available?

and/or.....

Did anyone get clarification like its a "one" time migration not a "limited" time migration?
